Born and raised in Essex County New Jersey J-Crush real name Godfrey J. Phillips didn't waist any time expressing his talents at age 5 he took a liking to the Art of Graffiti in which he saw on neighborhood Walls he would then began writing on everything from Paper to the Tables at School,Bookbags,School Walls,Toys,etc at that same time he was also into dancing and became what was later known as a Rocker/B-Boy he got his start by doing the Robot,and the Moonwalk,also emulating Dance moves from Shabba Doo,and Fred Berry(Rerun) from the famous Lockers danc Group. J-Crush did Graffiti and danced well up until his teenage Years when he became an Mc/Rapper with the influence of a Friend/Family Member Bruce who later in Life became one of Tupac Shakur's Outlaws after Years of making Tapes,Performing,and even making a Record, J-Crush met many famous People in the Entertainment Industry which opened other Doors outside of rapping he became a Street Promoter,and a Hip Hop Journalist where he did Promotions for Major Record Labels,and Hip Hop Magizines also writing, and working with Magazines such as Rappages,Mass Appeal,On the Go,Beat Down,and many others. At the present time J-Crush has opened a Promotion Company called 3pm Until LLc.
