JOHN AMOS
Where do I even start?!!! This one right here really hit different. You know when you literally grew up with, and or grew up on,but never knew them personally, but you've watched them on Tv,and followed them pretty much your whole life, well at least most of it. And it getting to the point whereas you feel like you actually do know them personally, that's why it saddens me to say goodbye to Mr. John Amos aka James Evans from the legendary TV Sitcom Goodtimes. James born John Allen Amos Jr. on december 27th 1939 in Newark New Jersey to John Amos Sr., and Annabelle P. Amos became one of Television's most iconic figures, and definitely Father's of all time. John Amos best known for his role as the adult version of Kunta Kinte in the classic miniseries Roots and like I mentioned earlier for his role as James Evans Sr. on the CBS television series Good Times. Some of his other work work includes The Mary Tyler Moore Show, a recurring role as Admiral Percy Fitz Wallace on The West Wing, and the role of the Mayor of Washington DC Ethan Baker in the series The District. Amos was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and an NAACP Image Award. In film, he played numerous supporting roles in movies such as The Beastmaster in 1982, Coming to America in 1988, Lock Up in 1989, Die Hard 2 in 1990, and Coming 2 America in 2021,and many more. Wait hold on Reader's let me see if i think of some more of his larger than life catalog,he has such a large body of work I'm not sure if I can get them all. I forgot he also appeared in Let's Do it Again,Die Hard 2,Ricochet,The Player's Club,My Baby's Daddy,Dr. Dolittle 3,Madea's Witness Protection,The Bill Cosby Show, and The Cosby Show,Sanford And Son,The A Team, and The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air,and I didn't even scratch the surface,I still have a ways to go,but I'll stop here I think you get the point.
Real quick before I get out of here I want to touch on his early year's,Amos is from around my way in New Jersey I even saw him as a little Kid in road rage rage on Freeway Drive East in East Orange New Jersey,I also had ties with Amos from a childhood friend also from New Jersey. In John's early Year's he grew up in East Orange, New Jersey, and graduated from East Orange High School after which He enrolled at Long Beach City College and graduated from Colorado State University becoming a social worker with a degree in sociology.
John also played on the university's football team, and after college, he was a Golden Gloves boxing champion. Amos was married 3 times Noel J. Mickelson,Lillian Lehman, then to Elisabete De Sousa, and leaves behind two children Shannon Amos Writer/Producer,and K.C.Amos Grammy nominated director, Amos died August 21st 2024 in Inglewood California from congested heart failure, and will be forever loved, and truly missed,my condolences to all of his family, friends, and loved ones. When he died on Tv that was heart felt,so losing him in real life is definitely a major loss.

TITO JACKSON
Toriano Adaryll Bka Jackson,Some say the coolest Jackson a founding member of the Jackson 5, I would rather say the founding member of the Jackson 5 died on September 15th in Gallup NM at the age of 70. Born October 15th in Gary IN was the third of 10 children,Rebbie, Jackie, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Brandon, Michael, Randy, and Janet,by Parents Joe,and Katherine Jackson. The reason I say he was the founder of the Jackson 5 is because of the time when he was a little boy 10 years old to be exact he used to sneak ,and play his Father's Guitar in which he wasn't supposed to however he did,and got caught cause he broke a string on the Guitar, which made,Joe his Dad very mad. Joe then fixed the Guitar, and invited him to play, which led Joe to buying Tito his own Guitar, which lead to what we know as the Jackson 5 ,you know God has the power to make something bad into good, thanks Tito! By you disobeying Joe we were able to get the best Band/Group of all time with hits like shake your body down to the ground, don't stop til you get enough, dancing machine, and ABC,(123),that was sampled to make their platinum Hit OPP. The Jackson's also had a Cartoon they were larger than life. The Jackson's a group that rose to fame in the late 1960s and 1970s with the Motown label and had continued success on the Epic label in the late 1970s and 1980s. Jackson began a solo career in 2003 performing as a blues musician. He was nominated for a Grammy Award three times, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Jackson 5. Sadly on September 15th Jackson suffered a heart attack and died at the age of 70 in Gallup, New Mexico Jackson had 3 Children,TJ Jackson, Taryll Jackson, Taj Jackson,he will forever be loved, and truly missed,my deepest and sincere condolences go out to his family, friends, and fans.
