Craig D Frazier, raised in the Bronx, acquired an insatiable appetite for Hip Hop growing up. After
high school, it was off to college where he started the first Hip Hop college radio show in San Diego,
reporting to HITS, Gavin, Billboard, CMJ and was an original Source Magazine reporter.
After a short stint in promotions and marketing, the street promoter turned entrepreneur when he
teamed up with two friends from San Diego State to start a Hip Hop Magazine called “Straight From
the Lip.”
As a writer Craig integrated multi-cultural issues from a socio-political perspective as it related to
hip-hop. His articles have been published in The Source, Vibe, XXL, Rappages, Rap Sheet, BET
